Each of the new Solarize Portland projects will host educational workshops at which community members can learn more about solar tech and about how the project works. None of these workshops are nailed down just yet, as the projects are still coming together. Check-in with the individual coordinators to learn more.

These free workshops cover the basics of solar power for Oregon homewoners. Participants come away with basic knowledge about systems, and are prepared to do more focused research on their own or start working with a contractor.
